Salvation

As the Bible prescribes there is only one plan of salvation which is illustrated in the following scriptures and epistles. (Mark 16:15), (John 7:38-39), (Acts 2:38), (Matthew 28:19), (Acts 5:32), (1 Peter 1:22-23)


Marriage

The Bible has always prescribed that a husband and wife are bound to each other as long as they both live. This is illustrated in the following scripture and epistles. (Luke 16:18), (Romans 7:1-4), (1 Corinthians 7:10)


Women Apparel

Although we are in a different dispensation of time, God’s commandment for how a woman should adorn herself has not changed.  The following scriptures and epistles illustrate this commandment.

Head must be covered when praying or prophesying (this does not include her hair). (1 Corinthians 11:5-6)

Not dying or coloring the hair. (Matthew 5:36)

Not wearing weave or hair pieces. (Psalm 119:128)

No broided hair which means to platt or braid*.

(1 Peter 3:3). (1 Peter 3:4-6), (1 Timothy 2:9), (Deuteronomy 22:5), (Leviticus 6:10), (Ezekiel 44:16-18), and (Exodus 28:40-42), (Isaiah 3:16-23), (1 Timothy 2:9), (Jeremiah 4:30), (1Corinthians 11:5-6, 15)
* To braid means to intertwine 3 or more strands.


Women Preachers

The Bible has always prescribed that a man be in leadership . Therefore, women are not allowed to preach but are to learn in silence with all subjection. The following scripture and epistles illustrate this command. (1 Timothy 2:12), (Numbers 27:15-18), (Ephesians 4:8, 11), (1 Timothy 2:11)


Funerals in the Church

God’s house is the house of prayer and not the house of mourning. Therefore, dead bodies defile the house of God and are not allowed in the house of prayer. This is illustrated in the following scriptures. (Ezekiel 9:7), (Numbers 19:13-14), (Matthew 21:13)


Preacher Qualifications

As prescribed in the Bible, God’s preacher should be blameless and holy. See the following epistles for reference.  (1Timothy 3:1-7), (Titus 1:4), (2 Corinthians 6:3-10)


Baptisms

In the beginning there were three Baptisms ordained of God. The First baptism (1 Corinthians 10:1-2). The Second baptism (Matthew 3) performed by John in the name of the Lord Jesus. The Third and final baptism (Acts 10:48), (Acts 2:38), (Acts 19:5).


Single Cup Communion

The Bible prescribes that there be a single Cup Communion in resemblance to the following scriptures and epistle. (Matthew 26:26-27), (Mark 14:22-23), (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)


Holy Days/Holidays

God has left on record His Holy Days which should be kept at their appointed time according to the following scripture and epistle. (Leviticus 23:1-44), (Colossians 2:16-17).

Therefore holidays or any other days that are contrary to sound doctrine are not observed. (Galatians 4:10)


Dietary Law

God gave to his people a dietary law which is still in effect and must be observed. The following scriptures reference the dietary law. (Leviticus 11:1-47), (Isaiah 65:3-4), (Isaiah 66:16-17)


Idols

No images of God, idol worship, angels, Jesus, doves, crosses, and praying hands.
No pictures of preachers and their wives/families inside the house of God. (1 Chronicles 29:1)


One God

There is but One Lord and One God. (1 John 3:16), (1 John 5:7,19-20), (1 Timothy 3:16) and (John 14:8-10)


Swearing

Let your yea be yea and nay be nay (2 Timothy 3:3).  The following behaviors are not acceptable for Jews. Serving on Jury duty (1 Corinthians 5:12); taking an oath (Matthew 5:37); bearing false witness (Exodus 20:16).


Selling & Buying in the Church

The house of God should be called a house of prayer (Matthew 21:11-13), therefore, the following activities are not permissible in the house of God. Selling and buying (Food – Tapes/CDs – Clothes – Tickets, Car Washes  – Concerts – Etc…)
