About UsIn January 2003, The Way of God Church of the Lord Jesus began its Atlanta services in the home of Pastor Tony Smith and family. The church started out with six (6) members which included Pastor Tony Smith. Although we were few in number at the time, Pastor Smith?did not waiver but stood steadfast and preached God’s Holy Word. After the worship services began to grow, God laid it upon Pastor Smith’s heart to move to a larger place to worship and thus we relocated to Decatur, Georgia. Since then God has continued to bless The Way of God Church with over one hundred (100) faithful members many of whom are from different ethnicities (Jamaican, Nigerian, Belizan, St. Lucian, Haitian, Puerto Rican, etc…) and members from various states (California, Virginia, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Ohio, etc…) and countries (London, Switzerland). In addition to our members, we have many faithful viewers and supporters from across the globe (Chile, Italy, Asia, South Africa, and the Caribbean). Over the years, not only has the church grown in numbers, we have increased in knowledge which has elevated us to higher heights and higher standards of living from when we first started. The Way of God Church is blessed to have a pastor and ministers who are committed to the furtherance of the church and who lead us according to the dictation of God’s Holy Word. Our church offers a unique worship experience that is Christ centered, Bible based and Holy Ghost lead.
